Professional smash player Nairo accused of sexual abuse

The latest allegations were released early today, July 2, against a Smash Bros. Ultimate player. However, others had previously been accused as well.

Gamer Nairoby Quezada, better known as Nairo, by his alias in the competitive community of Smash Bros. Ultimate, was accused of sexual abuse by another competitor of the same title, Zack Luth, recognized as captainzack.

The indications made on the Internet the morning of July 2, 2020, require a sexual relationship when Zack was 15 years old and Nairo 20.

The relevance of the events not only affected the competitive community, but even became a trend on various social networks.

It all started with a Tweet posted at 1:20 am with the message: "I'm tired of living a life of lies."

The post contains a link to a text published on Twitlonger, in which you can read the following:

"I started playing in smash tournaments when I was 12 years old. 3 years later, when I was 15, I had my first sexual encounter in a Smash tournament. At the 2017 Dreamland CEO on Friday night, April 14, it was the first time anything had happened to Nairo, who was 20 at the time. Fortunately, I recorded all my actions with someone on discord. They are verifiable with time stamps that coincide with others to which I had sent messages. ”

Zack Luth adds a link with screenshots as proof of conversations he had with other people where he relates what happened. Right there he explains that Nairo and his brother offered him money through Paypal so that he would not say anything about it. The first payment they made, he adds, was $ 2,000.

The Game Revolution web portal claims that “according to Florida law, an offender 18 years of age or older who 'intentionally touches a person under the age of 16 in a lewd or lewd manner or asks a person under the age of 16 to commit a lascivious or lascivious act ', receives a punishment of up to 15 years in prison.

Meanwhile on Twitter, people close to both players spoke about it. And although most support Zack Luth's position, some others point out that he was the one who sought contact with Nairo, who closed his Twitter account.

Also a professional Smash player, Ezra Samsora Morris, better known as Samsora, posted a tweet with a message that Nairo sent him via Facebook Messenger. Goodbye Ezra. Sorry".

This caused speculation about a possible farewell message that some users considered as a pre-suicide attitude. However, Samsora himself published hours after he had spoken to Nairo, who was safe.

A day before the whole issue was uncovered, Nairo posted a message on Twitter where he pointed out that it was all about rumors and that nothing of what was said was false. And while this message cannot be found online at this time, player MikeHaze posted a screenshot.

In the past, Cinnamon "Cinnpie" Dunson was also accused of sexual abuse by his partner, Puppeh. Recently, a young woman identified as Sandy (Shiva on Twitter) noted that Keitaro King Jr., known as Keitaro, got her drunk and abused her. For his part, the alleged aggressor responded in a Twitlonger post where he says to clarify things.

A last point, also made on Twitlonger this July 2 by Kaitlyn Redeker, accuses D'Ron Maingrette, popularly known as "D1", of having raped her when she turned 18 at an event that occurred in 2016.

Accusations of this type even reached the CEO of EVO, the world's most important fighting games tournament, who although he has not said anything, there is already a formal position, where he is said to be under investigation.
